Dr. Diane MacDonnell is an integrative practitioner in the true sense of the word. She offers a system of healing to her patients which combines the best of conventional medicine, nutritional therapies, the use of targeted supplements, acupuncture, Chinese medicine and homeopathy. She has particular interest and expertise in integrative cancer medicine and works closely with area oncologists to offer intensive support to the patient with a cancer diagnosis.

We will suggest readings on relevant topics and will offer links to websites of interest. One such site we believe does an excellent job of presenting environmental issues is the Environmental Working Group. The mission of this Group is to “protect us from toxic chemicals in our food, water, air and the products we use every day.” On the site you will find useful tools such as “The Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides a constantly updated list of which foods are most likely to have pesticide contamination.
There is also a section, The Cosmetic Safety Data Base; this tool is extremely helpful in learning what is actually in your cosmetics and skin care products including those we use on our children. Product safety is rated on the basis of carcinogen content, agents that cause endocrine disruption, environmental impact and a number of other parameters. This tool is most helpful in that it allows you to make an informed choice regarding products to which you are exposing yourself and your children. It's an excellent idea to review a product rating prior to purchasing for yourself or your family.
